Pumpkin VR Wins Gold at International XR Innovation Competition
Pumpkin VR is honored to stand out among 25 startup teams nationwide and win the gold award at the KOSMOS PITCH XR Innovation Competition, organized by Kaohsiung City Government in partnership with Silicon Valley's renowned international accelerator Plug and Play. Deputy Director Kao Chen-yuan of the Economic Development Bureau personally presented the award worth NT$3 million, recognizing our innovative energy and market potential in XR technology.
## Important Milestone Toward the International Stage
This competition progressed from training 15 selected teams to the final round, where teams showcased their XR technology capabilities through English presentations. We will head to Silicon Valley by the end of September for local entrepreneurship training and connect with international resources through PNP, marking a crucial opportunity for Pumpkin VR to enter international markets. The competition also attracted renowned investors including Taiwan Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs Association and Alibaba Taiwan Entrepreneurs Fund.
## Continuing to Advance Taiwan's XR Technology Development
As Director Fu He-zhong of the Economic Development Bureau stated, the finals mark not an end but the beginning of creative dreams taking flight. We will seize this opportunity to bring Taiwan's VR/XR technological capabilities to the international stage while contributing more to Kaohsiung's technology innovation ecosystem.
