The XR & On-site AI Delivery Team for System Integrators

XR simulation training, on-site AI interaction, and 3D content are the delivery segments most system integrators do not build in-house. Pumpkin VR has focused on exactly this segment since 2016 — dual-engine (Unreal + Unity) development, simulator hardware integration, and field installation, with delivered systems in defense, medical, industrial safety, agriculture, and eldercare.

Scope Split: What You Deliver, What We Deliver

The prime (you) delivers

  • Overall project management and the client relationship
  • Enterprise system and data platform integration
  • Cloud and network infrastructure
  • Security governance and overall acceptance

Pumpkin VR (subcontractor) delivers

  • XR simulation training system development (Unreal / Unity)
  • On-site AI interaction and reception applications
  • 3D content and art production
  • Simulator hardware integration and field installation

Where the interface sits

  • Requirements and acceptance criteria are confirmed in writing at kickoff
  • Systems connect to the prime’s platform via APIs and standard data formats
  • Documents, version control, and test records follow the prime’s project management standards

White-label & Attribution

  • White-label delivery is available: Pumpkin VR works as part of your delivery team and does not proactively disclose the subcontract relationship to the end client.
  • Co-branding or attribution, where desired, is agreed in the contract.
  • Any marketing exposure or case reference requires prior written consent from both parties.

Joint Bidding: How We Work, and Where We Are Honest

  • Up front: our technical track record is real — delivered systems in defense, medical, industrial safety, agriculture, and eldercare. Working as a subcontractor under a system integrator, however, is new to us; we have no prior subcontract delivery record.
  • During bidding we can support: technical sections of the proposal, prototype (PoC) demonstrations, and technical support for evaluation presentations.
  • We can participate as a subcontractor or joint-bidding member under Taiwan’s Government Procurement Act.

Delivery Process & Milestones

  1. 01Discovery interviews (1–2 weeks)
  2. 02Prototype / PoC (4–6 weeks)
  3. 03System build (2–4 months)
  4. 04Acceptance and training (2–4 weeks)

Confidentiality, Non-compete & IP

  • Confidentiality: we sign NDAs before kickoff; on sensitive projects such as defense we follow the prime’s confidentiality rules.
  • Non-compete: single-window principle — we do not approach the end client around the prime, nor pitch the client services outside the prime’s scope.
  • IP: Pumpkin VR retains its pre-existing engines, frameworks, and tools; ownership of project-specific deliverables is agreed in the contract, and source-code delivery is available where required.

Security & Data Residency (On-premises and Offline)

  • All technology components are of non-Chinese origin; we own our engines and frameworks and can meet source-code delivery requirements.
  • Four deployment tiers: cloud, private cloud, on-premises, and fully offline — data stays in-country for the latter three.
  • Fully offline: models and knowledge bases run in the local server room over LAN, with batch content updates.
  • Role-based access control, login audit logs, vulnerability scanning, and version control are in place; ISO/IEC 27001 certification is in progress.
  • We can sign security undertakings, non-PRC-capital declarations, and non-debarment declarations.

Team & Capacity

  • A team of about 16 based in Kaohsiung, founded in 2016, with 100+ delivered projects.
  • Dual-engine capability: high-fidelity Unreal Engine work alongside cross-platform Unity delivery.
  • Native Android / iOS development with app-store release experience; full VR / AR / MR device support.
  • Motion platforms, custom hardware integration, and 1:1 site modeling including Cesium geospatial scenes.
  • We staff by project team; capacity and schedule are assessed against project scale during discovery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you deliver under our company’s name?

Yes. We support white-label delivery and work as part of your team without proactively disclosing the subcontract relationship; co-branding is a contractual choice.

Will you approach our client directly?

No. We follow a single-window principle: all client communication goes through the prime, and we do not pitch the client services outside the prime’s scope.

Can the system run fully offline?

Yes. We support cloud, private cloud, on-premises, and fully offline deployment; in fully offline mode, models and knowledge bases run in the local server room over LAN with batch content updates.

Can your systems integrate with our platform?

Yes. We build with Unreal and Unity, connect via APIs and standard data formats, and follow the prime’s project management standards for documentation and version control.

How are IP and source code handled?

Pumpkin VR retains its pre-existing engines, frameworks, and tools; ownership of project-specific deliverables is agreed in the contract, and source-code delivery is available where required.

Have you subcontracted for a system integrator before?

No. We have delivered systems in defense, medical, industrial safety, agriculture, and eldercare, but working as a subcontractor under a system integrator is new to us. We will follow your project management, version control, and documentation standards — we just will not claim a subcontract track record we do not have.
